Why this exists
Local events end up scattered across Facebook groups, church bulletins, school pages and flyers taped to shop doors. If you didn't see the right post, you missed it.
The Local Zip puts them in one place. Enter your zip code and see what's coming up nearby, from fish fries and craft fairs to live music and grand openings.
Anyone can post an event free. Local businesses can pay to be featured, which keeps the site free for everyone else.
